We recently sold our home at Sunnvale and moved over to East Sanjose - well maintained, upclass appliances and kitchen and?nearly new home. However, I have my regrets now about buying this home inspite of observing the neighborhood was not that well maintained.

Within the first week I got into my home, I was speaking to a neighbor in the front and we were standing on the corner curb when a bicyclist who was taking a turn on the wrong side where we stood and passed an ugly comment "Get on your lawn and dont block my way - #*&^%" - We both were shocked and my neighbor tells me there are few people like that on both the streets - one behind mine and one where I live - they do not like people with jobs or something like that. They are currently jobless and could not find one for the last few years.

In early part of this week, I had left my car unlocked for about 5 minutes in my drive-way and my workout bag and sports kit are gone.

For those who are looking to get into a newer home in a not-so-good neighborhood, one word for you "Watch-out".
