In a recent conversation with a very senior executive of a brandname real-estate company we figured how real-estate industry works. There are three ways how real-estate brokers can gain new leads and retain relationship with potential clients:
a. Meet new clients in open-house or socializing through introductions
b. Display presence offline and online locations including Zillow, Trulia.
I am not sure about you, we prefer to meet a realtor who understands our home location, our home market, our area schools, competing cities etc. and we prefer to meet somebody, get to understand them better before we approve them to be our realtor. For years, option a. has worked very well and will continue to do so. However, option b. has given limited response.?
