Recently, I bought a set of appliances - Refridgerator, Dishwasher and my Gas Range - they promosed free delivery and free installation. Everything went just fine as I co-ordinated the contractor's timeline with the delivery and installation. I got the contractors to layout the tiles and install the cabinets - then had the bestbuy bring the appliances to install. They had separate companies bring in the dishwasher, range and then lastly my refridgerator.
When the refridgerator arrived, the third-party company hired by BestBuy did not install it, did not come with the tools to install it and even worse, did not bother to let us know what went wrong. I had to call BestBuy repeatedly to find out "Is this my refridgerator? Should I get it connected myself or wait". The answer was "We will find out soon - Thank you for your patience".
They kept me wait for a week and ran out of my patience - I went to the store and the store manager (Santa Row, San jose) said, he can only give us some parts to make things better or have the thirdparty come in when they are free to take a look at it. I could not return as it was past 30 days and the store manager kept saying "See, you have crossed 30 days, there is nothing I can do about this".
Is this something you would like to get into when you get your appliances installed? I would not do anymore business with BestBuy.
