A quick checklist for getting a bathroom for disabled:
a. Enough space to close the door while the disabled is standing in front of the vanity or using the toilet.
b. Space for toilet side-handle for the disabled to wake-up
c. Space for toilet handle to wake-up - preferably opposite the toilet.
d. Floor surface is a bit rough
e. No bath tub. Stall shower with location to sit-down opposite the shower.
f. Pull string connected to a bell for emergency purposes. The bell is situated in the center of the home.
g. Vanity hieght is adjusted for the disabled to stow their Crutch or similar. Vanity cabinet handles are easy on hand and opens up without pressure.
h. Medicine cabinet is easy to open with single hand.
i. Space for a chair for the disabled to wear dress if necessary.
